We are the Sirens of the Sea Mardi Gras Krewe, infusing Orange Beach's Mardi gras scene with a dash of elegance and a sprinkle of mermaid mischief. We are mer-mazing women of all ages and walks of life, and together we create some of the area's most magical parties, balls, and parades. Sirens of the Sea is Orange Beach's longest-standing, all-female krewe (25 years and #SirenStrong).

So, you want to join the most admired, all-female Mardi Gras krewe in Orange Beach? Renowned for our extraordinary parade floats, extravagant balls, and over-the-top themed parties? Being a member of our krewe means embracing the values of KINDNESS, TRUE SISTERHOOD and above all....FUN! To embark on your mermaid journey, you'll need to come to one of our MERMAID MINGLE events and get to know us! Fundraising events are a necessary evil, and everyone is required to pitch in and help. You can count on helping to sell tickets, but you could also be baking, cooking, cleaning or helping with decorating or clean up - whatever your strengths - we'll find them!
We have many themed socials and events throughout the year, culminating with our fabulous ball and then of course the super-fun Mardi gras parades.
We host monthly meetings and gatherings so you’re always in the loop and truly connected. The deeper you dive in, the more meaningful connections you’ll make—and the more genuine friendships you’ll find.
We proudly welcome women of all ages and walks of life. With multiple membership levels, there’s a place for everyone to get involved. Our members range in age from 24 to 89 and represent every season of life—career-driven women, mothers, grandmothers, young and single women, and stay-at-home moms alike. No matter where you are on your journey, you belong here. We’re here to support our mermaid sisters, always.
